As first graders we are very busy! While our schedule varies a little, here is a basic outline of our day.
8:50 - 9:05 Arrival/Breakfast/Morning Bins/Read
9:05 - 9:15 Morning Meeting
9:15 - 9:30 Social-Emotional Learning
9:30 - 10:00 Vocabulary and Text Talk (Read Aloud)
10:00 - 11:00 Literacy Block
11:00 - 11:25 Recess
11:30 - 12:00 Lunch

Yes, we have a lot to accomplish during the day! Know that dispersed throughout our day are movement and brain breaks, relationship building, and collaboration.
Schedule for Itinerant Classes
- Mondays - 2:30 - 3:20 - PE with Mr. Pena
- Tuesdays - 12:50 - 1:40 Music with Mr. Cox
- Wednesdays - 12:50 - 1:40 - Art with Mrs. Haggerty
- Thursdays - 2:30 - 3:20 - Library with Mrs. Hughes
- Fridays - 1:40 - 2:30 Health & PE with Mr. Pena
Students should wear sneakers on PE days.
